Reused Wood Processing for Le Club 55
In manufacturing the wooden artifacts supplied to Le Club 55 in Ramatuelle, our company applied the latest rules and innovations in wood stabilization and disinfection, paying special attention to technological applications.
The wood has been fully disinfected and baked in our dryers using our exclusive method to ensure it is safe, stable, and, over time, undeformable. Some parts have been waterproofed without altering their appearance. The wood, which is either recovered from the sea or found in rivers, always appears rough but is actually waterproof. This means that a dirty hand of grease, oil, or other staining material does not impact the wood itself since it is washable. Thanks to our treatment, the wood becomes “waterproof” material.
The natural architecture of the artifacts at Club 55
The architectural aspect of this structure is made entirely by hand using primitive tools, such as abrasive stones. The effect is a “flatness-not flatness,” which is not nonsense, but rather an idea of “perfect-imperfect” design. The owner of Le Club 55, the creator of the entire structure, wanted to imprint this idea on the old, reclaimed wood. However, he did not want to use industrial machines, which are too precise.
Innovation
The structure’s unique feature is that it is designed to be assembled and disassembled annually for the summer season (March to October) in accordance with new French national regulations. The timbers were transported to the beach by horse-drawn trailer.
Structure
The complex consists of a reception area, a bar/snack area, a kitchen, a storage area, locker rooms, restrooms, and a terrace. All of the wood used in the construction of the complex was reclaimed by our company.
Innovazione
La particolarità della struttura è che è stata progettata per essere montata e smontata ogni anno per la stagione estiva (da marzo a ottobre), in conformità alle nuove regole nazionali francesi. Nella esecuzione, e come si può vedere dalle foto, i legni sono stati trasportati sulla spiaggia a trazione animale, con cavalli e rimorchio.
Struttura
Il complesso è composto da una reception, bar/snack, cucina, negozio, spogliatoi, servizi igienici e terrazza, tutti realizzati con legno di recupero proveniente dalle lavorazioni della nostra azienda.
